A New Season

A New Season of Hope and Expectation

Walking By Faith, United In Purpose, and Trusting God's Perfect Plan

At Cochran Avenue Baptist Church, we believe that every season is an opportunity to experience God's faithfulness. As we prayerfully seek the next Pastor whom God  has chosen to lead our church, we move forward with confidence, hope, and great expectation for what lies ahead.

Our declaration for this season is Cochran Strong(er). It is a reflection of our commitment to keep growing in faith, moving forward together, and becoming stronger through the power and presence of God.

"They grow stronger and stronger with every step forward, and the God of all gods will appear before them in Zion."

During this time of transition, our mission remains steadfast. We will continue to worship God, proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ, serve our community with compassion, grow together in faith, and welcome all who seek a church family. The work God has called us to do does not pause because He has never stopped leading His Church.

We invite you to join us, not only in praying for God's direction throughout this pastoral search, but also in being part of the exciting ministry taking place at Cochran Avenue Baptist Church. Whether you have been with us for years or are looking for a place to call home, you are always welcome in our house.

Together, we trust that God is preparing both a shepherd for this congregation and new opportunities to share His love. With every prayer, every act of service, and every step of faith, we are moving forward. We ARE Cochran Strong(er).

We look to the future with joyful anticipation, knowing that the best is yet to come because our hope is found in Christ.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight." — Proverbs 3:5–6
